Phi Mu has been on Northwestern's campus since 1968. Since then we strive to live vibrant lives through upholding Phi Mu's oldest values of Love, Honor, and Truth. Back to School!
The sisters of Kappa Iota are very proud of their accomplishments over the past two years. At National Convention in San Antonio, Kappa Iota won four distinguished awards. Kappa Iota is proud to be awarded the George Perkins Williamson Ritual Award, which is awarded to one Phi Mu chapter in the nation for excellent dedication to ritual ceremonies and tradition. Kappa Iota also won the Nellie Hart Prince Academic Programming Award, Frances Dobernig Mitchelson Academic Excellence Award, and a Formal Recruitment Quota Award. Summer 2012
This summer Kappa Iota is excited to begin preparing for an awesome Fall Recruitment. We look forward to welcoming new NSU students to our campus and hope to encourage students to get involved at Northwestern. Kappa Iota is also looking forward to sending our President, Afton Owens, and Phi Director, Hailey Warner to Phi Mu National Convention in San Antonio, Texas along with many of our distinguished Alumni. Bid Day Spring 2012
It's Hard To Be Humble When You're Queen Of The Jungle. Kappa Iota welcomed 15 new sisters into their chapter at Bid Day which was held on January 25, 2012. Five Phi Mu Ladies were selected to serve as Freshman Connectors for the 2012 school year. Congratulations to Victoria Hippler, Tori Sanford, Tori Thompson, Taylor Layman, and Brooke Carlini. Read more
Kappa Iota Sisterhood Retreat, New Orleans, La
The Ladies of Kappa Iota traveled to New Orleans, La for their sisterhood retreat. While there they visited the Audubon Zoo and Audubon Aquarium. While at the zoo the Fall 2011 Pledge Class found out who their big sisters were. Read more
Vera Bradley Bingo
Phi Mu hosted the second annual Vera Bradley Bingo at Prather Coliseum where they raised over $5,700 for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals. Phi Mu thanks everyone in the community for participating and helping make this event a success. Read more
NSU Homecoming 2011
Phi Mu participated in NSU's 2011 Homecoming Week. The Ladies participated in the cupcake contest, and placed in the following events: Corndog Eating Contest-2nd Place, LipSync-1st Place, Float-1st Place, and Can Good Drive Contest-1st Place Read more
